Dear audience,

I write you this letter from the métro, Paris 7th of March 2022. In the moment you’ll be hearing these words, you’ll be looking at me reading those lines. It will be la journée internationale des droits des femmes+, afternoon; The space will be stained by traces of motion; You may already feel a little tired and the anxiety of performing will be shared by me feeling slightly uncomfortable standing there in front of you. In the claustrophobic métro, the sensation and wish to bring to you an imaginary place grows within, like a field of gras in spring. You know, each time I’m supposed to perform a solo I find ways, not to be alone on stage. Once I created a solo during a two month residency, a few days before the performances, it became a group piece. As much as I love to be alone in life, to be so on stage, makes me feel truly uncomfortable. May-be you share this sensation… ? Have you seen ‘Himmel über Berlin’ by Wim Wenders? In my dream, you, me, we _ would all have a guardian angel, like in the scene of the film in the library. I brought with me one of my heroes, she’ll be singing along.
